Perhaps we’ve never met, perhaps we’ve shared a laugh or a drink in port somewhere, but I wanted to introduce myself — I’m Hana, a fellow yachtie and founder of Crew Compass Apps. Our mission is to create a company that fosters a sense of respect, kindness, and support within the yachting community.

In the end, we’re all in the hospitality industry, to serve our guests (in some capacity) with professionalism and kindness. This all starts with us. Pettiness, elitism, competitiveness, discouragement have no place at Crew Compass. Instead, we offer our open arms ready to help you the best way we can.

We believe in the following key pillars of Crew Compass:

1. Encouragement

No matter where in your yachting career you find yourself, there is a place for you at Crew Compass. We’re here to provide advice, to help connect crew members, and to provide a sounding board for whatever concerns you have. Tell us when you get a job, we’re excited to celebrate. Tell us when you’re struggling, we’ll find ways to help. We’re here to encourage and listen.

2. Respect

We don’t always have to agree, and perhaps we won’t have a solution for you right now, but we promise to always treat you with respect and kindness.

3. Sharing

Sharing knowledge, successes of our crew and captains, jobs and helpful tips. Crew Compass will share the successes of our fellow yachties, share inspiring stories, and share helpful information that will benefit all crew.
